Job Description
- Leads team and drives sales and all activity in assigned territory.
- Sells new and existing products, discovers new opportunities, and secures incremental business.
- Consistently performs effective sales calls throughout the assigned territory and closes new business opportunities.
- Develop and grow relationships at the appropriate management level with distributors, resellers, and end-users to leverage lead generation on major accounts.
- Accountable for business performance and hitting all revenue and other performance targets.
- Work effectively within a team environment to maximize revenue potential and ensure customer success.
- Collaboration with Territory Sales Managers; act as a mentor, coach and lead-by-example.
- Explores, identifies, and communicates potential opportunities with the Territory Sales Managers.
- Builds on a strong history of networked contacts, expanding the brand recognition.
- Technology Develop and/or modify sales forecasting, goals, performance standards & measurement criteria for sales
- Support the development, implementation and management of account plans that achieve maximum possible revenue generation from new and existing customers through sales of product and services.
- Accountable for all channel partners and end-user sales revenue.
- Establish a list of targeted channel partners and end-users.
- Foster Technology Partner relationships with sales engineers and salespeople.
- Other duties may apply based on the needs of the business.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in outside sales.
- 2 years of relevant experience in a technology environment is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of technology and prior use of applications (LinkedIn, Google & Google
- Workspace, Microsoft & Microsoft Teams, NetSuite etc.…)
- Familiarity with HubSpot strongly preferable (or a comparable CRM system of maintaining records.
- of outreach and updates with contacts)
- Proven experience effectively prospecting and cold calling in a territory
- Able to provide a record of measurable and highly successful level of selling products, services and solutions through channel partners and end-users.
- Proven track record of leading and motivating to achieving and/or exceeding both individual and team sales goals.
- Must be team oriented and have strong mentorship skills.
- Strong and persistent drive, with effective negotiating skills and motivated through sales achievement.
- Self-starter who takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced and high growth environment.
- Team player with ability to work under pressure.
- Travel flexibility up to 2 weeks per month and valid driver’s license required.
