Regional Sales Manager- (In-Person Job Randolph, NJ)
We're on the lookout for a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to join our sales team to manage existing business relationships while steering growth into new territories. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational and customer service skills with a track record in the Produce Department industry. What We're Looking For:
· Strategic mindset to establish and execute sales goals to drive business objective
· Exceptional skills in building and maintaining relationships with key customers.
· Identify and develop new customer opportunities.
· Address customer concerns proactively & provide effective solutions.
· Collaborate with Sr. Vice President to establish and execute sales goals
· Manage Regional Sales broker(s) in a way that maximizes company revenue & goals
· Forecast & track annual, quarterly, and monthly sales trends by customer
· Coordinate with inside sales regularly to ensure retail account needs are met (i.e. forecasting demand for production; promotional planning & execution; ensuring orders are delivered on time and in full).
· Accomplish sales and organization mission by completing projects as needed
· Seek out and participate in industry events (e.g. trade show)
· Prepare and submit Monthly activity report to the Sr. Vice President
· Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading industry publications; maintaining personal networks
· Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to inform strategic decisions

· High level of integrity and ethical conduct in all business dealings
· Strong quantitative analysis skills for processing and interpreting numerical data
· Familiarity with market research tools and platforms commonly used in the industry
· Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
· Advanced knowledge of sales practices including customer service, proven negotiation skills, forecasting and pricing
· Strong business acumen with the ability to negotiate and close deals effectively
· A track record of successfully managing and growing sales in a national or regional capacity
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas and strategies to both internal teams and external clients
· Stay informed about industry trends, competition, and emerging opportunities
· Ability to inspire and lead teammates
· Ability to adapt to a dynamic business environment and industry changes
· Thorough understanding of Nuts, and Snack products and services, and those of immediate competitors in the surrounding market.
Supervisory Responsibilities
· This position does not require supervisory responsibilities at this time. However, clear and consistent communication with the inside-sales team, including delegating tasks, is required.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This position is full-time, generally Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and as needed to meet departmental deadlines.
You will be provided with a computer, home office supplies, and any other materials necessary to perform your job function.
Travel
Willingness to travel as the role may involve visiting clients, attending industry events, and overseeing Regional Sales activities.
Travel expenses and business mileage, while using personal vehicle, reimbursed.
Education and Experience
· BS/BA in Business, Marketing, or a related field required
· 2+ years’ experience in Nuts, and Snack industry required
· 5+ years’ experience in sales required
· Proven track record of leveraging relationships to achieve business goals
· Demonstrated skills in negotiation and public speaking
· Must be completely PC proficient, moderate Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint knowledge
· Ability to complete projects and organize work independently
· Excellent communication skills
· Problem-solving aptitude
· Valid US Driver’s license
