Well established and successful Domestic Logistics/Transportation Company in NJ servicing locations across the US needs a candidate with solid results driven sales and customer service experience in full or partial truck loads, drayage and warehousing. Will build and deal with existing customers to anticipate and meet their freight needs. Must have experience managing a sales team. Will be actively pursuing new business opportunities within the transportation industry developing strategies to identify and secure new accounts, expanding our market presence, actively selling, developing new accounts, and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base. Will work closely with the Operations, Carrier Sales, Billing, Accounting, and Marketing departments to ensure cohesive efforts across the company. Will provide input on marketing strategies and promotional activities to enhance sales efforts.
