Job Description:
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of corporate partnership and ticket sales professionals to drive performance and achieve sales goals.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize revenue generation from corporate partnerships and ticket sales within assigned regions.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for college athletic departments in the East and North Coast regions, fostering strong relationships and understanding their unique needs to deliver tailored solutions.
- Revenue Generation: Drive the sales process from prospecting to closure, actively participating in high-level negotiations and ensuring the successful execution of contracts.
- Performance Tracking: Implement effective sales performance metrics and tracking systems to monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive accountability.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities and drive continuous improvement in sales strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and finance to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and maximize overall company performance.
- Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into sales performance, key achievements, and challenges.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate partnership and ticket sales, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry.
- Proven track record of success in leading high-performing sales teams and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders and close complex deals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients and internal teams.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities. Willingness to travel within the assigned regions as needed.
