Job Summary:
This is a high touch, multi-dimensional position requiring the highest level of connectivity. Candidates for SEE Regional Manager must be sales drivers, customer centric, have the highest standards of accountability and be an outstanding team leader. Reporting directly to ownership, SEE Regional Managers are responsible for the success of their Districts with regards to sales, developing best in class teams, service excellence, operational excellence, and community involvement. This is a unique opportunity to lead the highest volume region within the SEE Retail fleet and we are looking for the BEST!
Regional Managers should expect to spend 90% of the workday on the selling floor working alongside the teams coaching, mentoring, modeling behavior and training company initiatives. Duties & Responsibilities:
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Serve the needs of the store manager and team development by being present on the sales floor. Partner with store managers to identify areas of focus prior to store visits so that every day starts with clear goals, objectives, and action plan. Recap the day to highlight wins and opportunities and plan follow up. Communicate key takeaways to Director of Stores and Director of Education.
- Accurately staff district, assist in building dynamic teams, recruiting top talent, relevant to the customer and market and ensure the consistent delivery of the SEE Experience in all stores.
- Maintain talent roadmap; facilitate development plans and succession planning. Ensure backfill is in place for key positions.
- Direct and monitor all sales and operational activities of district to ensure Sales objectives are met and operating income.
- Develop Store Managers by providing clear, motivating, and constructive performance feedback in a timely manner.
- Conduct a monthly one-on-one business and talent review with each Store Manager.
- Ensure that on-boarding and HR Compliance is completed prior to contact with clients.
- Communicate themes for training and development opportunities to Director of Education.
- Execute promotional events in coordination with Marketing that fit the SEE brand positioning.
- Support and partner with Cross Functional Partners and Human Resources to provide administrative guidance and expertise as needed to optimize resources.
- Communicate, implement, and ensure compliance of all company policies and procedures as well as visual presentations.
- Ensure effective execution of all operational activities across retail, lab and eye care segments of the business.
- Continuously drive the business by analyzing key financial data, monitoring operating efficiencies and identifying business trends/opportunities.
- Manage profit and expenses.
Requirements:
- Due to the nature of the role-weekend availability and communication with the stores is required as the business demands.
- 4 days in store with 1 remote day; could require additional days depending on needs of the business
- Up to 75% travel required; overnight
- Must be located in market with a SEE store in New York City Area, Winter Park, FL, Sarasota, FL, Boston, MA, Miami, FL, Washington DC
- Proven track record of driving results overseeing a large high-volume region.
- Optical retail experience/exposure preferred, specifically overseeing Licensed States.
- Boutique / luxury retail experience preferred.
- Experience working in fast paced, high profile positions.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Seven (7) or more years of multi-unit retail management experience
Compensation:
- SEE is looking for a top performer and is offering a highly competitive package which includes:
- Highly competitive base salary ranging from $75,000 to $130,000 but could be more or less depending on the candidate experience
