Position Summary:
The Regional Logistics Manager is responsible for developing standards and managing performance of the transportation and warehouse providers. Supports site/sub-regional Supply Chain teams managing site related warehouses and daily operations with logistics providers. Optimizes and manages 3rd party warehouse providers and teams dedicated to warehouses.
What will you do?
- Develop, coordinate, and support Logistics activities for the region.
- Manage Carrier performance through KPIs and management processes.
- Manage non-manufacturing site warehouses and support teams, coordinating with supply chain and shipping department coordinators.
- Standardize and optimize logistics processes, to drive the supply chain strategy.
- Work with Indirect Procurement on securing competitive freight and warehouse cost.
- Control stock quality at the external warehouses.
- Support manufacturing sites for overflow/off-site warehouse selection and management.
- Manage performance of logistics partners (transportation, warehousing) in partnership with key stakeholders within the supply chain function.
- Control and analyze performances (KPI) and develop plans to improve performance.
- Manage to logistics budgets focusing on transportation and warehouse expenses.
- Drive logistics cost improvements both within own budget and within commercial/ manufacturing site budgets.
- Ensure compliance to local regulatory frameworks and EHS standards.

Required Minimum Number of Years of Relevant Experience:
- 5 years managing logistics service providers and flows.
Education, Experience and Training:
- Background and direct experience in managing and developing Logistics.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or Logistics
