Summary: Responsible for managing regional production, work quality, training programs, service levels and funding decisions outside of policy. Handles conflict as it relates to internal customers, dealers and DRM’s.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ensures the achievement of all funding objectives including volume, turn time, portfolio performance, legal and procedural compliance
  • Manage regional production, quality and service levels
  • Responsible for maintaining adherence to all Federal and state regulatory issues regarding indirect lending.
  • Evaluate performance versus established metrics and identify operational deficiencies and work with Loan Processing Managers to implement plans to improve operational effectiveness
  • Accurately and effectively communicates with Credit, Sales and dealer management
  • Provide leadership, support and motivation to Loan Processing teams
  • Reviews exception deals and makes decisions in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Develops, coordinates and supports training activities and staff development in accordance with SFS policies.
  • Implements and monitors necessary reports to ensure production and quality goals are achieved
  • Monitors and manages the distribution of 3rd party (Stellantis) sites and reports such as Configurator, DealerConnect, etc…
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures.
  • This position involves regular access to specified personal information of consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth.

Additional Responsibilities Perform the above-referenced essential duties and responsibilities as well as assist in directing the work of employees assigned to the region by leading and overseeing their day to day activities and work schedules and by providing work-related guidance in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures. Although this position shall provide the authority to lead, oversee and direct the day-to-day work of assigned employees and to report work assessments to management, it shall not provide the authority to take the following actions: hire an employee, fire an employee, promote or demote an employee, discipline an employee in a formal manner, reassign an employee, or alter benefits of an employee. All such decisions shall be made by the responsible senior manager(s) in consultation with the Human Resources Department.

Education and/or Experience The knowledge, skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or a general education degree (GED); Minimum 3 years of auto finance industry experience with a minimum of 1 year as a Credit Manager, Loan Processing Manager or similar position.

Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as credit policies and company policy and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages.

Reasoning Ability Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of MS Power Point software; MS Excel software and MS Word software.

Other Skills and Abilities Read and interpret all three major credit bureaus, TransUnion, Experian and Equifax
