The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team is seeking a Regional Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Assessment Manager with the passion to drive value across complex supplier relationships and demonstrated experience in supplier EHS management. Proficient analytical skills, using data to design processes that scale, effective collaboration across internal and external stakeholders, and the drive to continuously improve and achieve business objectives will be critical to success in this role.

Responsibilities
- Identifies and assesses supplier environmental, health, and Safety (EHS) risks for Microsoft per standardized qualification framework.
- Attends and/or coordinates supplier or stakeholder meetings as part of the EHS qualification process.
- Recommends and supports the implementation of risk mitigation strategies for identified supplier risks.
- Conducts onsite assessments and/or audits as part of the qualification framework, Microsoft EHS standards, risk mitigation strategy, or governance framework.
- Tracks supplier EHS qualification and performance data.
- Creates, reviews, and/or modifies supplier EHS contract language.
- Coordinates with stakeholders to continually improve processes and specifications by developing solutions and starts to maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Compiles and presents EHS data and reports to stakeholders and decision makers to ensure alignment and provide relevant data for business decisions.
- Communicates and recommends EHS solutions and best practices implemented by Microsoft.
- Implements and provides written EHS requirements to teams and stakeholders.
- Communicates EHS programs, processes, and notifications to stakeholders regarding requirements via cross-functional projects and specifications.
- Utilizes EHS assessment software to document and analyze assessment data to identify trends, improvement areas, and best practices to drive continuous improvement of the EHS Management System.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety and Health Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, related field AND 4+ years experience in Environmental Health and Safety Worldwide Regulations
- OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field AND 8+ years Environmental Health and Safety Worldwide Regulations experience
- OR Master's Degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field AND 6+ years Environmental Health and Safety Worldwide Regulations experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience with Enhesa, Regscan, Enablon, Intelex or similar tools.
Environmental Health & Safety IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $91,800 - $178,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $117,900 - $195,000 per year.
