The Regional Director of Operations will manage/lead all restaurant operations and assume responsibility for the support of the management in venue while acting as a liaison between the team and company executives.

This Regional Director is responsible for leading with a focus on meeting strategic business initiatives and ensuring that all activities are consistent with and supportive of the company's culture and values. This position will lead and direct daily restaurant operations of the assigned region to grow sales, guest counts, and achieve profit/ margins while maintaining high operating standards and ensuring guest satisfaction. The position will partner with cross functional teams on projects that leads to the development, implementation and adoption of new procedures, processes, and technologies for the long-term success of Puttshack venues. This position will be responsible for leading and developing venue leadership teams.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Builds market share within assigned region, by achieving company sales and guest count growth, both directly and through the effective management of venue Directors of Operations through the attainment of operational excellence, brand protection, implementation of process improvements, and execution of marketing strategies.
  • Ensures focus on the Puttshack brand promise by elevating the guest experience in venues within assigned Region. This is achieved through the ongoing review, analysis, and utilization of customer data from all resources to develop actionable tactics that drives brand commitment and guest experience.
  • Drives financial performance through consistent execution of systems and processes to achieve financial metrics. Maximizes region profit objectives and provides leadership and direction to subordinates for achievement of their assigned area profit objectives by working closely with the finance team.
  • Supports growth of our culture by hiring and developing top talent in all venues to achieve management and associate staffing levels, including retention goals. Aligns recognition, rewards with performance, and ensures associates have ongoing development plans.
  • Provides leadership to and management of direct/ indirect reports including mentorship and development. Manages the effective development and utilization of the region's human resources and training strategies and tactics.
  • Communicates, evaluates, and documents Management Team Members' performance including the preparation and presentation of performance reviews, pay administration, and disciplinary action, including terminations.
  • Manages the performance management and bench planning processes in the region.
  • Drives consistency in the execution of all systems and processes to achieve the brand's vision of the best place to work, eat and play.
  • Effectively collaborate with other departments in the organization including Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, Facilities and Construction while achieving the desired results and delivering excellence for guests and associates.
  • Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Restaurant Management or related field required.
  • 10+ years of increasingly responsible restaurant operations management experience (knowledge) of marketing, business planning, training, and human resources.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience of multi-unit experience
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload effectively in a high-volume environment.
  • Possesses strong leadership skills that engage and inspire others with the ability to work within the appropriate level of independence.
  • Extensive experience in performance measurement and P&L analysis.
  • Experienced in strategic forecasting, cost controls and other systems that support KPIs.
  • Strong financial acumen, ability to perform and meet/exceed budget expectations.
  • Proven history of qualitative analytical skills and problem solving that drives innovative solutions to complex situations.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including effective presentation skills to all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong strategic thinking and organizational skills that with ability to manage direct reports, influence stakeholders, lead multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Frequent and extensive travel required.
  • This position must pass a post-offer background.
