Regional Director of Business Development (Logistics)
Location: Remote - Southeast United States.
Base Salary: $100K - $150K per year.
Other: Generous commission plan, car and phone allowance, full benefits package.
We are seeking a candidate with Business Development experience to secure and sign new business through sales of Dedicated Contract Carriage, 3PL, Freight Management and LTL along with other transportation-related solutions.

We are seeking a candidate with Business Development experience to secure and sign new business through sales of Dedicated Contract Carriage, 3PL, Freight Management and LTL along with other transportation-related solutions.
Essential Job Duties Include:
- Bringing in new business while at the same time maintaining positive and productive relationships with an existing customer base.
- Effective marketing of all product lines including Dedicated Contract Carriage, Integrated Logistics, Leasing Rental Truck Maintenance and Vehicle Sales.
- Making presentations to senior management and customers.
- Developing delivery cost models and forecasts for ideal sales productivity.
- Supporting negotiation of contracts and pricing agreements.
- Interfacing with other internal departments to ensure effective and viable sales solutions.
- Producing results through in-person sales calls, consultative selling, cold calling and telephone calls.
- Attending events and trade shows when necessary to introduce solutions to prospective customers.
- Following up on RFP’s and RFQ’s.
- Acting as the key contact and utilizing internal resources to respond quickly to customer concerns or issues.
- Maintaining accurate sales pipeline and closed sales reports in company CRM.
- Defining operational scope and obtaining confirmation of key operating assumptions.
- Acting as an ambassador for the company, always conducting oneself in a professional manner and striving to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Other duties as needed or required.
Qualifications Include:
- Military Veteran or Family Member preferred, but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics or related industry or equivalent work experience.
- 5 or more years’ experience in logistics sales and or operations roles. Preferred logistics services: Dedicated Contract Carriage, Truck Load, LTL, Freight Brokerage or Warehousing.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willing and able to travel locally and regionally as needed.
