Summary Of Your Role
The Regional Data Systems & Research Specialist identifies, collects, cleans, analyzes, and interprets varied data sets and creates reports and presentations for programs, customers and related stakeholders.They analyze large stores of data to identify information and trends about past and current practices, as well as forecast program performance and trends based on the data and will develop insights to inform better operational decisions.The Regional Data Systems & Research Specialist understands and defines system requirements and ensures all reports and information produced are consistent with the medical, administrative, ethical, and regulatory requirements of the behavioral health system of care.
What You Bring To The Table (Must Have)
•Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science or Statistics or equivalent experience as a Data Analyst/Researcher or similar role).
•Two years or more of work experience in data analysis, data mining and forming reports.
•Experience with writing and maintaining SQL queries.
•Experience with architecture, design, management, and implementation of data collection platforms
•Ability to create reports and PowerPoint presentations, including visuals of data analysis findings and interpretations.
•Ability to communicate and present effectively with employees and customers.
What You Will Do To Make An Impact
•Collect and provide metrics into a variety of programs and/or county database (i.e., EHR) and convert to a useable format for reporting.
•Design, construct, and maintain data management tools.
•Design, build, and run concise data reports with clear data visualization for program leadership and the customer as needed, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually.
•Monitors and ensures data deliverables are collected accurately and on time, including data entry by program staff.
•Assures that all staff and other individuals entering data understand the significance of accurate data input.
•Verifies accuracy of data.
•Cleans data, eliminating outliers and discarding irrelevant or spurious information.
•Triage data related problems and escalate to supervisor as needed Pinpoint trends, correlations, and patterns across multiple data sets.
•Provide reports for comparative analysis.
•Work with the corporations IT department to help formulate relevant strategies and understand company and program technologies.
•Recommend ways to organize data tools and improve data reliability and efficiency.
•Work with the program Administrator and Regional Director to determine organizational goals.
•Assist in the development of relevant data related program policies, procedures and protocols as needed.
•Participates in all relevant trainings and meetings to stay up to date on program developments, county requirements and changes to systems.
•Interfaces with stakeholders as assigned to coordinate and confirm data and reports according to stakeholder specifications/direction.
•Advanced knowledge, skills and experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Smart Sheets, Data Reports, MS Forms, spreadsheets, word processing and database software
•Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHRs), Beacon CAD, Mitel, Ultipro, variety of scheduler systems, MS Forms, ACCESS.
•Knowledge, skills and experience with Modern data visualization tools such as Qlik or Tableau.
•Strong and effective communication and presentation skills.
•Ability to type 50 WPM and make forms.
