Qualifications:
- Four-year degree in Accounting, Business Finance or any related degree
- CPA required
- A minimum of 5 years of previous Accounting Supervisory/Management role required
- Casino or Hospitality experience a plus
- Extensive use of MS Office products, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and ERP systems
- Must possess effective communication and organizational skills
- Must be a team player and work well with others
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex of documents such as technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions; ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
License Requirements:
Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation and Gaming License
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage the month end close process.
- Manage and produce financial statements for internal and corporate personnel
- Maintain General Ledger.
- Generate monthly/year end corporate reports
- Assist with annual budget preparation
- Liaise Internal with Internal and External Auditors
- Supervision over the Accounting Department
- Balance monthly cash accounts.
- Analyze various monthly general ledger accounts
- Oversee yearly filing of IRS reports: W2G, and 1042’s.
- Backup for daily cash reporting.
- Backup for wire transfer
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
