General Accountability:

Regional Account Executive is responsible for selling TULSA-Pro to new hospitals/imaging center accounts and existing hospitals/imaging center accounts within the assigned territory. This requires an expert-level knowledge of the imaging & urology market, as well as, hospital /IC capital process; the ability to build a team of administration, physician and staff champions, strong solution selling skills, and grit to ensure sales objectives are met on a consistent basis.

Regional Account Executives are expected to provide an extraordinary degree of information and present to physicians, administrators, & buying teams throughout the capital equipment approval and purchasing process.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate market awareness and drive sales of TULSA-Pro within an assigned sales territory.
  • Generate a high volume of sales activity including in-person prospecting, product evaluations, phone calls, proposal / contract generation, customer presentations, and negotiations.
  • Ensure that pipeline supports achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
  • Manage the complex sales process into new hospitals, HW, SW and service upgrades and additional systems into existing hospitals
  • Build clinical and administrative support through presentations, executive meetings, marketing events, and reimbursement support.
  • Effectively manage transition of initial sale and installation to the account management team to drive procedural volume and growth.
  • Achieve quarterly sales targets with a goal of getting new programs to a minimum of 25 procedures (within a 12-month period) with a strategic plan
  • Partner with the Director of Sales to develop a sales plan for their assigned territory to meet and exceed goals.
  • Initiate contact with C suite and senior hospital administrators.
  • Manage relationships with key customer stakeholders like Clinical Nursing, C-suite Executives, Administration, Urologists, Radiologists, & Interventional Radiologists.
  • Make business case for system approval and purchase by developing relationships with key stakeholders and delivering an impactful value proposition.
  • Understand and own contract creation, negotiation, and management activities, resolving any roadblocks presented by administration & purchasing
  • Manage revenue recognition activities while ensuring a successful system installation and program launch.
  • Must be able to keep up to date with hospital credentialing including but not limited to routine background screening, inoculations, and training

Education and Certification:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

Key Attributes (experience, skills and technical knowledge):

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ sales experience preference for experience in healthcare or capital sales
  • Knowledge of hospital capital process or imaging center capital process
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven successful track record in capital medical equipment sales
  • Self-starter who performs well with autonomy and problem solver who can think critically in high pressure environments.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% dependent upon account distribution
