JOB SUMMARY
This position reports directly to the General Foreman responsible for the assigned scope of work. The Red Line Coordinator is responsible for Maintaining current and accurate drawings of all Mechanical Piping, including the P&IDs drawings, after project completion. Walk down and verify (as built) all projects for drawing accuracy, completion, and turnover to the client. Must demonstrate the ability to accurately understand P&IDs and isometric drawings. Must have knowledge of welding procedures, system specifications, and general knowledge of other craft procedures. Demonstrate a high-quality Control expectation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Review blueprints, schematic drawings, and job specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Act as SPOC regarding redlines between construction, engineering, and the facility.
  • Visit job locations to transfer field mark-ups from Mechanical construction drawings to master drawings.
  • Maintain all field redlines for all phases of construction and maintenance.
  • As-built P&IDs when discrepancies are found.
  • Coordinate with engineers and field personnel to ensure changes during construction are incorporated into master drawings.
  • Work with project engineers and documentation for final sign-off of P&IDs and final project master drawing sets.
  • Review Mechanical IFC, P&ID, and ECAR drawings to ascertain the extent of the construction and/or maintenance project.
  • Must be able to read and understand Mechanical symbology, devices, and weld details, material grades, and system spec.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.
  • Strictly adheres to State, Federal, and company driving policies, journey management instructions, and policies.
  • Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
  • Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of five (5) years related training and experience required.
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Foxit, SAP, and possess knowledge of standard drafting graphics.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry and in the arctic environment.

WORKING ON THE NORTH SLOPE
While working on the North Slope of Alaska, your lodging and food will be provided to you. All camps provide warm meals and options to grab a quick lunch or snack from the spike rooms. Rooms vary from single status to shared rooms where your roommate may work the opposite shift. Wi-Fi and Internet is free and available within the camp. Services vary depending upon where you are staying; however, most facilities offer housekeeping, self-serve laundry, commissary, mail, gyms, TV/Theater Room, etc. Each facility will have their own accommodations and policies that will be reviewed upon on-site orientation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
A candidate must be able to meet the following non-exclusive requirements:
  • Meet the AES Driving Records and Motor Vehicle Use Policy.
  • Take and pass a pre-employment drug test which may include both UA and hair testing.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this position including working in a remote location under arctic conditions.
  • Required to take and pass a Fit-For-Duty Exam
  • Required to complete and successfully pass a background check.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an access badge for the work location.

The availability of this position is contingent upon the Company's continued operational needs once training is completed.
