Recruitment Marketing and Communications Manager
FSP is looking for a RecruitmentMarketing and Communications Manager (RMCM) who will play a pivotal role in attracting top talent to our organization through strategic and operational Marketing and communication initiatives.
Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition and collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders, the RMCM will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive Recruitment Marketing and Communications strategies to enhance our employer brand, engage potential candidates, help drive recruitment efforts, and help motivate and retain employees.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a creative flair, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment/Retention Marketing
- Work closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Sales, Operations, and Branch Management Teams to understand recruitment needs and priorities. Lead the development and delivery of recruitment campaigns, events, and initiatives to support Talent Acquisition efforts.
- Develop compelling messaging to potential and current employees that showcases the organization's culture, values, and opportunities for growth. Create engaging and relevant content for external and internal communications, including job postings, employee and/or customer testimonials, videos, social media, and employee intranet posts and newsletters.
- Work with the Director of Talent Acquisition to develop and implement strategies to actively engage with candidates and nurture relationships throughout the hiring process.
- Develop and execute a survey program to collect relevant feedback and insights from hiring managers, candidates, and employees and make recommendations for improvements to Talent Acquisition practices and marketing strategies.
- Work with relevant internal stakeholders such as Sales and Operations to enhance our employer brand within the fire safety and protection industry. Develop brand messaging, positioning, and identity to differentiate our brand in relevant U.S. and Canadian markets. Manage the employer brand presence on relevant customer and industry-facing channels such as social media platforms and company and industry websites.
- Collaborate with leadership across the organization to identify key drivers of employee satisfaction, motivation, and retention and develop and implement strategies and initiatives to address them.
- Plan and execute participation in candidate and employee engagement events. Coordinate logistics, design, promotional materials, and staff training to maximize event impact.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve Marketing and communication strategies.
- Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communication channels.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure Marketing and communication efforts are integrated and aligned with overall business goals.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor and analyze the performance of Marketing and communication initiatives, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
- As the business continues to expand, mentor, and develop a team of Marketing and Communications professionals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, HR, or related field.
- 5+ years proven experience in recruitment and/or sales marketing, branding, or related roles, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment or recruitment agency.
- Travel up to 20%.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, corporate branding campaigns, digital marketing strategies, and social media platform promotional campaigns and advertising.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and content for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to measure the effectiveness of Recruitment Marketing campaigns.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a results-driven mindset.
- Prior experience in managing vendor relationships and budgets.
- Knowledge of HR technology, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and Recruitment Marketing platforms is preferred.
- Fire safety and protection, building construction, or facilities services industry experience a plus.
