The Recruitment & Learning Manager is part of a four-person People Team that supports approximately 95 (and growing!) full-time staff firmwide across 9 office locations. Job Summary

As a key member of our People Team, the Recruitment & Learning Manager will lead and shape our recruiting, onboarding, and internal learning/development programs, with primary focus on:


Recruiting:
Work with firm leaders to develop and execute compelling recruitment strategies, oversee all recruitment and support cross-departmental hiring processes, work closely with hiring managers, and leverage technology to capture data and build effective hiring tools. They will support and build Stillwater’s employer brand by engaging with applicants, candidates, and new hires, while serving as a key connection point to Stillwater’s culture. This role will support Stillwater’s external relationships in academic institutions and partner organizations through career fair and internship/co-op programming in an effort to help build a diverse talent pipeline.

Onboarding: Develop and manage onboarding programs that support integration of new hires into Stillwater’s operations and partner with various company leads to provide a seamless onboarding experience. Provide support and coordination to hiring teams throughout the onboarding process.

Learning & Development (L&D): Oversee, develop, help lead, and maintain existing internal development initiatives and build/expand strategic and responsive programming for staff at all levels.

Engagement: Serve as a conduit for candidates interested in working at Stillwater, create meaningful candidate experiences and provide superb customer service. Support Stillwater staff by providing access to staff trainings, development resources, and general information through various communication channels (intranet, staff meetings).

People Team Support: Ensure that appropriate data/metrics are collected and reported for compliance purposes (ATS, new hire, employee life cycle), work closely with Payroll & Benefits Manager on onboarding systems. Support the Director of People & Culture in organizational development and learning functions, performance management, and employee engagement.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-4 years of full-time experience in full-cycle in-house recruitment.
  • Prefer candidates who possess at least 5 years of progressive experience with both talent acquisition and learning/development.
  • Experience working in professional services (specifically AEC) and/or consulting.
  • BA/BS, business, management, or human resources emphasis preferred.

Competencies & Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an appropriate blend of professionalism and friendliness.
  • Ability to discreetly handle confidential data including compensation and personnel information.
  • Experience supporting multiple teams in hiring initiatives, ability to manage priorities and workload independently.
  • Proficient in active recruitment on Linked In and versed in using other social media channels for recruiting activities.
  • Experienced in ATS/HRIS design and maintenance, and data integrity/management.
  • Adult-learning theories and methodologies, experience facilitating trainings.
  • Ability to foster teamwork and build relationships with team and candidates.
  • Ability to build equitable and inclusive practices in recruiting and training efforts.
  • Familiarity with internal compliance requirements and employment laws related to EEO, Title IX, ADA, Affirmative Action, and state pay transparency laws.

Availability, Compensation and Application Details:

  • Full-time exempt, benefit eligible,
  • Salary $74,000 - $95,000, depending on experience.
