Recruiting Specialist/Talent Acquisition
Location: 4629 Aicholtz Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45244
Hours: 25 hours/week with flexible scheduling and some remote opportunities
Degree Required: HS Diploma/GED
Experience Preferred: At least 1 year of full-cycle recruiting experience
Pay: $17.50/hr
Job Duties: Child Focus Early Learning division is seeking a part time, entry level, Recruiting Specialist. Our Recruiting Specialist will be responsible for identifying qualified candidates to work in our Head Start, Early Head Start and Childcare classrooms.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, decision-making abilities, communication skills and a strong attention to detail. They should be able to remember the minute details of a conversation with various applicants and have the communication skills to share the value of working in our Early Learning division.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with the Early Learning division to identify hiring needs. Develop understanding of specific recruitment needs and maintain positive working relationships in order to provide guidance and make appropriate recommendations
- Work collaboratively with HR Recruiting Specialist and HR team
- Responsible for full cycle of Early Learning recruitment duties:
- Posting positions on the internal and external job boards
- Screening of applicants resumes for required qualifications adhering to EEO/AA, fair employment practices, and other candidate performance success indicators
- Conducting phone interviews with qualified candidates
- Scheduling in person interviews and tracking of applicants through hiring process
- Finalize hiring process
- Attending job fairs and events
- Tracking of new hires through 90 day onboarding process and providing check ins
- Liaison with TriHealth on physicals and drug screening
- Conduct and track required background checks for potential employees
- Stay abreast of effective sourcing techniques and technology
- Research and ensure resolution of individual employees and applicants’ problems
- Other duties/responsibilities will be assigned as knowledge of agency and hiring procedures is gained.
