The ideal candidate comes with quality experience in the restaurant industry as a restaurant manager or chef, excellent communication and leadership skills, and passion for cultivating employee experience and relationships. The Recruiting Manager will report to the Director of Talent & Productivity.
Work Location: Hybrid role with some flexibility, but at least 3-4 days working at our restaurant locations, primarily in the New York tri-state area.
Salary: $70,000 - $85,000

Job Description
The Recruiting Manager will serve a critical role in the Human Resources team and interact regularly with Altamarea Group executive and restaurant management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Promote and enhance our employment brand by maintaining our brand presence on all recruitment channels (AMG websites, LinkedIn, Culinary Agents, social media, and other recruiting sites), writing and updating job descriptions, and working proactively with our marketing team on recruiting initiatives
- Manage the recruitment cycle and source management and line-level candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust pipeline of candidates, including by leveraging industry network and knowledge to strategically source passive candidates
- Enhance current recruitment processes through more effective recruiting, screening and interviewing techniques, as part of improving overall quality of candidate pool during recruiting phase and talent within our company
- Assist restaurant management teams and HR with screening, interviewing, conducting reference checks, sending offer letters, onboarding, and orientation
- Train and audit restaurant teams on recruiting, interviewing, and orientation to ensure adherence to compliance, best practices, and Altamarea Group goals and values
- With guidance from the Director of Talent & Productivity, design and develop the employee welcome experience
- Provide support for Human Resources team on other various administrative duties, retention and operating analyses and special projects
Job Qualifications
- Preference for candidates with at least 2 years of experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry, as a restaurant manager, chef, or recruiter

- Familiarity with recruitment tools and platforms
- Comfort with federal and state employment compliance requirements
- Superior written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze information and processes with a solution-oriented mindset
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint); knowledge of InDesign and Adobe programs a plus
- Professional demeanor, great attitude, relentless work ethic and initiative, reliable, able to multi-task, great attention to detail, organized, open-minded and willing to learn, passionate about food/restaurant industry
