This unpaid internship opportunity will provide professional training and experience to students currently enrolled in an accredited college or university. The Recruiting Intern will engage in work assignments, projects, and activities associated with the recruiting and onboarding of new employees to Casa Central. The internship is structured to enable the intern to gain the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform at a professional level.
Intern Responsibilities:
- Support the HR team with recruiting efforts at community outreach events, as well as job fairs at colleges, community centers, etc.
- Support the HR team in organizing recruiting promotional materials and distributing recruitment materials in strategic locations at community hubs.
- Contact local churches, requesting information to distribute recruitment materials and/or make recruitment announcements at local churches.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as inputting information into the applicant tracking system.
- Support the HR team in conducting in-person onboarding and orientation sessions for new hires.
COVID-19 Vaccination Policy: Casa Central will require interns to be fully vaccinated by the first day of the internship or be fully vaccinated within 60 days of start date.
