Position Summary
The Recruiter/Human Resources Generalist will join our team to support the Corporate Operations department. Primary functions include recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and support on human resource matters. You will serve as the go-to resource for employees throughout the recruitment stage, initiation to the company, and continued connection throughout employment. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your business expertise across various domains, directly influencing and enhancing the overall employee experience. This position is a hybrid position that requires the ability to report to the office in Beavercreek, Ohio.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage job requisitions for online posting to our applicant tracking system.
  • Attract applicants by placing job advertisements, networking, using job boards, and other sources to generate interest from candidates.
  • Source, screen, schedule interviews, and assist in the candidate selection process.
  • Develop and maintain candidate pipelines in advance of hiring needs.
  • Move hired candidates through the onboarding process to coordinate a successful transition to joining the company.
  • Track and record all recruiting and onboarding activities.
  • Organize hiring events and participate in job fairs to network with potential candidates.
  • Track recruitment KPIs, like time to hire, source of hire, and time to fill.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and complete onboarding tasks with new employees.
  • Plan employee engagement events and coordinate details.
  • Promote and organize team activities to introduce creative ideas.
  • Oversight of employee experience and recognition of birthdays, milestones, and other company swag.
  • Work with employees on benefit enrollments, answer benefit-related questions, and reconcile benefit invoices.
  • Participates with HR compliance and annual reporting tasks.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Candidates with an Associate degree and four+ years of experience will also be considered.
  • 2+ years human resources, recruiting, or business administration experience.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
  • Experience using social media, and job sites/boards.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload.
  • Good analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Strong Excel Skills, along with proficiency in Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint within the MS Office Suite.
