Recreation Therapist

```Duties:```
- Develop and implement therapeutic recreation programs for individuals with mental health conditions, developmental disabilities, dementia, and those in hospice care.
- Conduct assessments to determine the needs and interests of individuals and create personalized treatment plans.
- Lead group therapy sessions and facilitate activities such as yoga, dance, and other recreational activities.
- Provide mental health counseling, addiction counseling, and case management services to clients.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.

```Qualifications:```
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Recreation Therapy or a related field.
- Certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) is preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with mental health conditions, developmental disabilities, dementia, or in hospice care.
- Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and interventions for various populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to assess client needs, develop treatment plans, and evaluate progress.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple clients and programs simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.00 per week
