SalaryRehabilitation Support Services, Inc. (RSS) is seeking a full time Recreation Specialist II to work with youth ages 5 to 18 who have a mental health diagnosis in Orange County. Position includes day and evening hours, but hours can vary based on needs of youth. Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday Schedule available

Requirements:
AA in Human Services with three years of experience working with children and adolescents.
Must work well in a positive, strengths focused, high energy, and rapidly changing environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensure that all arrangements are made to enable access to activities (e.g. transportation, funds, reservations, etc.)
Document group activities in reports and progress notes.
Participate in all required training and attend staff meetings/ supervisions.
Other requirements:
Valid driver's license, successful completion of background check including Justice Center and New York State Office of Children and Family Services Statewide Central Register Database Check.
