Follows routine procedures or with general supervision, responsible for performing a variety of duties associated with ensuring the completeness and accuracy of maintenance records.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Promotes and fosters a safe and secure operating environment.
- Performs computer data entry of aircraft maintenance records.
- Verifies completeness and accuracy of maintenance documents and computer records in accordance with general maintenance manual.
- Files and maintains historical records.
- Coordinates with department personnel to ensure timely and accurate records processing.
- Research maintenance records to reconcile computer data variances or as needed.
- Process review and development as needed.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
- High degree of professionalism and ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
- Judgment and initiative necessary in setting priorities. Must determine if unusual problems with routine procedures require involvement of others.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- One to two years’ experience in records administration.
- Ability to interpret and work quickly and accurately with detailed and complex technical data, information, and records.
- Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel applications.
Preferred:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
