Records Specialist

Operating as a regional airline in the United States, Air Wisconsin Airlines performs flying services for American Airlines as American Eagle throughout the Midwest and East Coast, operating CRJ-200 regional jets. Follows routine procedures or with general supervision, responsible for performing a variety of duties associated with ensuring the completeness and accuracy of maintenance records.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Promotes and fosters a safe and secure operating environment.
• Performs computer data entry of aircraft maintenance records.
• Verifies completeness and accuracy of maintenance documents and computer records in accordance with general maintenance manual.
• Files and maintains historical records.
• Coordinates with department personnel to ensure timely and accurate records processing.
• Research maintenance records to reconcile computer data variances or as needed.
• Process review and development as needed.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

• High degree of professionalism and ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
• Judgment and initiative necessary in setting priorities. Must determine if unusual problems with routine procedures require involvement of others.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One to two years’ experience in records administration.
• Ability to interpret and work quickly and accurately with detailed and complex technical data, information, and records.
• Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel applications.

• Associate degree or equivalent experience
