Job Description
Millican & Associates, Inc. is a records and information management firm with over thirty (30) years of experience working with clients across a variety of industries and government agencies.
We are seeking a Records Management Analyst to provide Records Management customer support including records inventories and departmental Records Management projects in support of a large federal program in Washington, DC. (This position requires 4 days on site and one day remote work.)
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the Agencies Records Management Program;
- Conduct Program Office inventories as needed;
- Create file plans for the EM Program Offices;
- Identify and assign schedules/record disposition for documents in the program offices;
- Recommend changes to, or creation of, processes and procedures supporting the records program, including electronic records and information governance; and
- Performs other duties related to the maintenance of the Records Management system
Qualifications:
- Must have seven (7) years of Federal Records experience.
- Understanding of file plans.
- Ability and experience researching records requirements;
- Knowledgeable of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) procedures and the General Records Schedule (GRS);
- Understanding of the requirements of the Managing Government Records Directives (MGRD) M-12-18;
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
