SalaryWe are looking for a veterinary Receptionist/Vet Tech Assistant preferably with 1+ years of experience in the veterinary field. We are a small, privately owned animal hospital treating primarily cats and dogs. We would like to find someone with a passion for animals and the willingness to work as a team player.
If you are familiar with Cornerstone software that is a plus.
Must have:
* Excellent people skills, with the ability to work and communicate well with clients and colleagues.
* The ability to work flexible days/hours including Saturdays.
* Good organizational skills.
* Great phone skills - able to dictate messages and communicate it to the veterinarian and co-workers.
Must be reliable and able to work well with people and animals
Duties will include interacting with clients and their pets, answering phones, checking in and discharging patients, entering medical notes, loading clients and patients in rooms and recording weight and temperature, helping restrain animals, filling prescriptions and housekeeping.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
