Schedule: Monday to Sunday. Weekend shifts. 1130a-830p and 12p-9p

Location: Folsom, CA

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician with limited permit ideally with a medical assistant or medical receptionist background to join our medical team. As an X-ray Technician and medical assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate diagnostic evaluations for our patients.

Responsibilities:

· Perform limited diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray

· Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly

· Ensure patient safety by following radiation safety protocols

· Perform administrative tasks such as managing patient records, and coordinating referrals

· Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature

· Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures

· Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies

· Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers

· Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing

· Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and blood glucose monitoring

· Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and medications

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient encounters

Requirements:

· Valid permit as a Limited Permit X-ray Technician

· Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy and physiology

· Experience with various imaging techniques using X-ray

· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

· Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities

· Flexibility to work in different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
