We are seeking a reliable and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
RESPONSIBILITIES for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls using a multi-line phone system
- Schedule appointments and maintain full calendars for multiple clinical staff members (two at present)
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Provide general information to clients and visitors
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient office operations
- Entry of payments into an established Quickbooks program.
- Send collection letters if necessary and maintain complete records of the correpondence sequence.
SKILLS:
- Previous experience in an office
- Knowledge of office systems and procedures
- Familiarity with medical office operations is a plus
- Experience as a medical receptionist is highly desirable
- Proficiency in operating phone systems, computers, fax machines, and other office equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

- Pleasing, positive, outgoing personality.
- Fluent with medical terminology, common prescription abbreviations, etc.
- Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality. Any violation for this is grounds for immediate termination.
- US Citizen or a visiting national with papers ("Green Card") for local work
- Drug free. Must be able to pass random drug tests.
