Schedule:

830 am-5 pm M-F with occasional weekends

Position Summary:

The individual in this position is competent to perform all tasks at the receptionist desks which include operating the telephone system, greeting residents, visitors and staff; processing and routing deliveries and US mail. Also, must be prepared at all times to handle any type of emergency or disaster.

Greet visitors, residents, and staff give directions and answer questions. Treat all residents, visitors and staff with dignity and respect.   Educates visitors upon entry of infection control procedures and rules.

Job duties:

• Greet visitors, residents and staff and answer questions using good customer service skills.
• Must have good computer skills 

• Maintain a balanced cash drawer for selling stamps, greeting cards, candy, soda, and ice cream bars. Items can be paid for with cash or charged to residents account. (Resident must sign for the charge.)
• Wlling to train as a receptionist to fill in at other desk areas as needed.

• Will help to maintain various listings for the reception services department.

• Replenishes infection control supplies, i.e. masks, disinfecting wipes and sprays.

• Provide information to visitors on current process for signing in to visit facility.

• Responsible to help vacuum, sweep tiled area, and dust the entrance and café spaces.

• Keep table and counter areas in the café and desk area clean and sanitized and furniture straightened.

• Process meal tickets for Crescent Crossing and Courtyard Park visitors. These can be paid for with cash or charged to the room. (Resident must sign for the charge.)

• Other duties as assigned.

General knowledge of office operations. High level of interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
