The Receptionist is responsible for exemplary customer service delivery while greeting patients and visitors, answering high volume phone calls and overseeing other daily operations of front desk in a medical office to maintain optimal flow of services rendered.
- Greets all patients and visitors in person or by telephone. Uses customer service principles and techniques while responding to patient inquiries.
- Checks in patients for exams.
- Order entry into AllScripts after registration is completed.
- Communicates with offices for new orders.
- Assists patients with picking up films.
- Communicates with physicians and staff regarding any patient related issues.
Experience
Required- 1 year(s): Experience in a customer service setting.
- 1 year(s): Experience in a medical office setting.
Education
Required- High School/GED or better
