Receptionist

Empire Door and Glass is looking to add a Receptionist to our team in Minneapolis, MN.

We are a door and glass service company providing personalized service and customized solutions for maintenance, managers and building owners. We specialize in all types of window glass, screens, storefront aluminum entry systems, mirrors, bifold and bypass closet doors, steel doors, hollow core doors and fire doors.

Empire Door & Glass is proud to be a family-owned business supporting a team of local and skilled craftsman. For nearly 40 years, we have been helping Maintenance, Managers, Owners and Residents with all their door, glass and hardware needs. Our personal approach and long lasting relationships, mean we can easily and quickly estimate, build and install with accuracy and quality.

DUTIES & OUTLOOK

Ideal candidates will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities to: Collaborate well and must work independently. Ability to form professional relationships with customers, employees, and partners. Communication skills are critical. Self-managed style and the ability to routinely organize priorities to which include but not limited to the following items

• Provide support to salesman and sales assistants by answering inquires on products and services with enthusiasm, field questions and concerns as appropriate.
• Greet customers that come in and assist in coordinating a salesman to service customer.
• Assist salesman writing up new sales orders and communicating customers needs.
• Provide status updates on upcoming and current jobs.
• Computer savvy with ability to learn new technology.
• Working with vendors submitting PO’s and RFQ’s for your customers needs.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with computers & typing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn new things.
