Job Title: Receptionist
Position Summary: This position is accountable for creating a welcoming experience for our districts, team members, and guests. This position is responsible for the front office administration including answering the office main phone line, screening and transferring calls to relevant parties, greeting clients and guests, and general office support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Acts as the first touch to incoming guests and staff, providing a welcoming, assistive experience.
- Answers, routes and trouble-shoots inbound phone and email correspondence, delegating to appropriate departments as needed.
- Oversees the mail, package and delivery process and assures the office supplies and inventory management is monitored and stocked appropriately.
- Assists with administrative work and projects, including but not limited to, scheduling management, events assistance, and internal correspondence matters.
- Works closely with building management for operational assistance including managing cubicle keys and the building lost and found.
- Helps maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting badges as necessary and maintaining visitor logs.
- Utilize and help manage the conference room scheduling system to reserve and confirm reservations, make signage, and adjust schedules to maximize meeting space.
- Contacts vending machine providers regarding service-related issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
1. Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
2. One year of related experience preferred.
3. Ability to operate in a pleasant, professional, and tactful manner.
4. Ability to operate a multiple-line telephone console and greet clients, vendors and visitors.
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize.
6. Organized, with attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills.
- Some knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, MS Teams and SharePoint is required.
Additional Requirements:
1. Current Act 114, Act 34, Act 151 and NSOR Clearances required prior to an offer (Must be dated within 1 year of hire date).
2. School Personnel Health Record (Form H511.340) must be completed and received by Human Resources prior to hire date.

Position Schedule: This is a full-time, -day calendar position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Hours of work are from 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Hours depend on the needs of the districts and other groups. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
