Receptionist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Receptionist to join our team. We are a top of the line Auto Detailing shop that is family owned and operated. We are hiring for a new shop located in Merrillville, IN.

The ideal candidate will have existing knowledge of cars, excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean and presentable at all times
- Create service invoices and Cash out customers
- Handle customer inquiries and provide accurate information or direct them to the appropriate resource
- Assist with general office tasks such as ordering supplies, organizing files, and maintaining office equipment

- Assist with car washes and moving vehicles

Requirements:
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent computer skills and use of Point of Sale device
- Knowledge of cars is an advantage
- Knowledge of auto service receptionist duties is an advantage

The listed pay is entry level with opportunity for a raise after 6 months.

Pay: $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
