Job Summary

The Receptionist is responsible for establishing a warm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere for all clients, executives, and staff members. Located at Warner Bros. Discovery, the Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors to the floor, making them feel comfortable, directing them to their appointments and meetings and assisting them during their visit. This position is a mobile position within the building.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Print Daily BEO
  • Complete Opening daily check list ensuring all rooms are event ready and match current BEO.
  • Attend Weekly BEO and take notes. Log all Tickets in Corrigo System.
  • Check all floor signage, and Meal Signage.
  • Provide high-level internal and external customer support.
  • Meet and Greet executives coming in for Private Conferences or Dining Reservations.
  • Greet employees and visitors, welcome clients with a smile and maintain eye contact through the entire interaction.
  • Receptionists is the one-point contact for all guests coming on and off the floor to assist with conference rooms, dining rooms, lavatory locations, directions, and breakout spaces.
  • Work with Conference Services team and execute all VIP guest movement.
  • Assist with monitoring, responding, and taking reservations with in Xytech. Receptionist will be main point of contact for all Video and Photo Shoots. Capturing who is attending, how they are arriving, Electrical needs, Loading Dock passes and all services.
  • Receptionist will be responsible for making space reservations using Xytech.
  • Speak knowledgeably about the office, building, surrounding areas, transportation, local restaurants, and other points of interest.
  • Coordinate luggage drop-off and pick-up when needed.
  • Manage the access badge process for employees and visitors according to client standards.
  • Manage, Order and Inventory Office stationery as per Stationary Inventory Par Sheet. Coordinate orders with WBD.
  • Carry out instructions for security, fire, health and safety guidelines.
  • Provide first-line support for basic office technology.
  • General administrative support
  • Interface with vendors (catering, AV, etc.) to provide seamless customer support.
  • Respond to inquiries and anticipates customer/client needs.
  • Communicate effectively with peers, displaying accuracy and attention to detail both in verbal and written communications.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of business activity and communicate all updates with your team members.
  • Communicate and interact effectively with all other departments.
  • Support WBD Employee Programs when needed within the building.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two to three years of experience in a client service / reception position within a hospitality or corporate environment.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of office technology/equipment.
