We are seeking a receptionist to manage our front desk in our Fort Worth office (1400 W. 7th Street), handle call volume, and perform various administrative and clerical tasks.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 am – 5 pm, 1 Saturday/month
Responsibilities
- Meet and Greet and welcome Guests with a Smile as the first point of contact with the company
- Ensure guests sign-in
- Answer incoming phone calls within three rings, being polite and professional and transferring and/or redirect calls according
- Responsible that the reception area is tidy and presentable with all necessary stationery and materials (i.e. pens, forms, brochures)
- Ensure the Kitchen/Breakroom is clean and fully stocked
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Print Lead Logs
- Work on Thank You cards for customers
- Create Rental Car Reservations
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook)
- Order front office supplies and keep an inventory of stock
- Ensure the Company Phone List and Roster are current
- If there are any announcements (Birthdays, Anniversaries, New Hires), send via email to designated audiences
- Sign for every package – FedEx, UPS, USPS and distribute accordingly
- Create and Send out FedEx packages
- Keep updated records of office expenses and costs
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Ensure strict confidentiality at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Multitasking and stress management skills are essential
- Flexibility and a positive team first attitude are a must
- 1+year experience in role as a Receptionist
- Proven track record of success required
- Self-motivated and self-sufficient
- Personable/Charismatic
- High Sense of Urgency
- Takes responsibility/committed to good decision-making
- Effectively manage time to meet and exceed company-set metrics and goals
- Strong ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills (tact, diplomacy and influence)
- Strong proficient computer skills and strong in-depth knowledge of relevant software applications (Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel)
- Professional appearance with a reliable work ethic
- Consistent and stable work history
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
