Job Title: Receptionist

Summary
Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies, as well as additional clerical duties.
Essential Functions

- Greet visitors and determine whether they should be given access to specific individuals.
- Oversee Visitor Log and Visitor badges.
- Answer main office telephone calls and transfer accordingly.
- Separate and deliver incoming mail.
- Prepare packages for shipping (FedEx online), maintain postage meter (postage and supplies).
- Maintain phone/extension list.
- Print meter readings for copiers.
- Maintain conference room schedules.
- Daily maintaining of breakrooms, conference rooms, and workrooms.
- Coordinate and schedule any necessary building maintenance and track status and resolution of issues.
- Coordinate and schedule any necessary office machine maintenance; use of company vehicles and oversee scheduling of required maintenance.
- Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies.
- Miscellaneous duties such as ordering floral arrangements, coordinating catering, and preparing the office for visitors.
- Assist various departments with miscellaneous projects and perform other duties as assigned.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

Education
- One or more years of experience and/or training preferred.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Maintains a valid Driver's License and be insurable under company insurance provider/program.
