Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate person or department
- Provide accurate information to callers and visitors regarding company services and procedures
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for multiple staff members
- Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Proofread documents for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
- Transcribe notes and dictations as needed
- Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a receptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Strong computer literacy skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of QuickBooks, Jobber or other accounting or scheduling software is desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational abilities with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
