We are seeking a organized and professional individual to join our team as a receptionist. As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for our clients and visitors. This position requires excellent phone etiquette, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. We service small engines, lawn care, snow removal, landscaping & sell lawn and snow equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Transcribe voicemail messages accurately and relay them promptly
- Light cleaning duties
- Manage the company's phone system, including setting up conference calls and forwarding calls as needed
- Type and proofread various documents, including correspondence, reports, and memos
- Provide administrative support
- Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer support
- Sales and ability to answer questions about lawn mowers & snowblowers
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Requirements:
- Proven experience in office management or a similar role
- Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle calls professionally and efficiently
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
