River Vista Behavioral Health sits along the bluffs overlooking the San Joaquin River, this brand new, 128-bed facility, will provide high-quality and advanced behavioral health services to residents and visitors in the Central Valley. The new hospital will employ more than 250 people, including clinicians, nurses, mental health technicians, support staff and administration.
We are currently seeking a compassionate and hardworking RECEPTIONIST The Receptionist is responsible for greeting and assisting all visitors, answering the switchboard, documenting incoming deliveries, processing incoming and outgoing mail and providing clerical support as requested. In addition, the Receptionist prepares weekday deposits, prepares monthly statements for mailing, assists with various clerical duties and projects as assigned, and may assist with completing appropriate paperwork for new admissions during after-hours shifts if assigned as well as maintain the Receptionist schedule and serve as back up as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education : High school graduate or equivalent required.
Experience: Two (2) years' experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a heath care environment and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment.
Additional Requirements: May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- If assigned, provide assistant to patients and employees, such as change, checking valuables, providing meal tickets and providing postage as assigned.
- Adhere to facility, department, corporate, personnel and standard policies and procedures.
- Attend all mandatory facility inservices and staff development activities as scheduled.
