Receiving Associate

Colonial Hardware is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and putting away shipments, as well as organizing inventory within our warehouse.

Responsibilities:

· Receive incoming shipments, checking for damages, count, and accuracy

· Inspect and verify the contents of packages against purchase orders

· Record and maintain accurate receiving data using a receiving schedule

· Organize and store received items in designated locations

· Communicate discrepancies with managers

· Maintain a clean and well organized work environment

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Experience in a warehouse receiving or a similar role

· Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately inspect packages

· Basic computer skills and a familiarity with inventory management software

· Ability to lift and move heavy packages

· Capable of working independently or with a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
