We are looking for individuals who are experienced in Property Management maintenance operations, passionate about the resident experience, and who thrive in a fast-paced environment to join our team. Your primary responsibilities involve coordinating maintenance activities related to resident move-in and move-outs, assisting in providing a positive resident experience during their tenure, home inceptions both before and after move-in/move-out, occupancy checks, and assisting in large homes repairs where increased communication is needed.

This position operates in the field at our properties in the Phoenix, AZ area.

The Role: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Conduct move-in inspections 48 hours (about 2 days) prior to resident move-in and conduct move-in orientations with residents upon move-in
  • Accurately diagnose maintenance problems and determine appropriate solutions
  • Receive, review and document maintenance requests in company systems. Determine the cost of the proposed solution using company guidelines
  • Install smart home device packages
  • Utilize software for marketing photos, tours, and floorplans
  • Conduct move-out inspections with residents in final days of lease and again after resident move-out
  • Manage resident escalations pertaining to maintenance service requests
  • Complete occupancy checks on homes with unknown occupants, eviction status, or scammers reported and determine whether vacant or occupied by checking the homes and utilities thoroughly and reporting back to the appropriate parties timely. Assist with communications with Unauthorized Occupants and police as needed to aid in applying or vacating from an Evergreen home.
  • Responsible for maintaining a high degree of customer service and competency in all resident and vendor interactions, whether over the phone or email, through formal written communication or in person
  • Other activities as assigned by your manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School Diploma / GED required
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite is required, including Outlook, Work and Excel, with additional software experience a plus
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in construction/maintenance, property management, coordination scheduling/dispatching preferred
  • Basic understanding of single-family home systems and components (appliances, HVAC, etc.)
  • Quality focused mind-set
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills, able to consistently meet goals and deadlines while maintaining quality
  • We seek applicants who are proactive, self-directed, and highly motivated
  • Must have a current and valid driver's license

Additional Information. The role will require:

  • Regular typing, talking, hearing, seeing, reaching, and repetitive motion.
  • Routine use of standard office equipment and computers
  • Travel to our properties in your region and may involve light physical demands such as:
    • bending, walking, kneeling, stretching
    • work on step ladders
    • installation of smart home device packages
  • That all duties are performed in a professional and safe manner
  • Standard workdays are Monday through Friday with occasional evening and weekend overtime hours
