Internship Overview:

Cardinal Capital Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate Finance Intern to join our team. This opportunity is designed for individuals passionate about Real Estate, capital markets, and investment analysis. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced Real Estate team to gain valuable hands-on experience in the Real Estate financing industry.

Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis: Assist in conducting financial analysis by running lending scenarios for potential Real Estate investments, including property valuation

Sales: Generate new clients and deal flow through working with closely with the sales team

Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the Real Estate market. Stay updated on capital market news and economic indicators that may impact investment decisions.

Financial Modeling: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and enhance financial models for investment scenarios. Analyze and interpret financial results to support decision-making processes.

Due Diligence Support: Assist in due diligence processes for Real Estate transactions, including reviewing legal documents, financial statements, and other relevant information.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including asset management, development, and acquisitions, to support various stages of the Real Estate investment process.

Documentation: Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate financial analyses and findings to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Knowledge or coursework in Real Estate Finance, investment analysis, and financial markets is a plus

Job Type: Internship

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
