We are a growing Real Estate Development company seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to add to our team in the development of workforce housing, apartments, and townhomes in the Lake Tahoe Basin. The qualified person for this position is a highly motivated self-starter who is excited about Real Estate Development and has the ability to work with our other team members to push our projects forward. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our CFO in working with potential lenders and helping in the office. Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite are essential. Bookkeeping experience is required. This is a wonderful opportunity in beautiful Lake Tahoe, working on easing the housing crisis for the Lake Tahoe workforce.
Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibility will be to assist our CFO in securing construction loans by contacting potential lenders. Secondary Responsibility will be doing the bookkeeping for multiple entities.
Other responsibilities could include:
● Assist the Development Team with all aspects of Real Estate Development including: due diligence, entitlement, third party consultant coordination (architects, engineers, title company, geotechnical firms, contractor, etc.) and financing.
● Investigate fees, permits, and other research that will assist the development teams.
● Assist in preparing materials for presentations.
● Assist our Legal Team
Qualifications:
●Minimum of 1 year of college required.
●Desire to learn about building codes, permit regulations, and Real Estate Development processes.
●Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
●Strong attention to detail.
●Ability to work independently.
●Ability to do research.
●Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
●Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
●Excellent problem-solving skills.
●Advanced proficiency in Excel.
●Must be a team player, but also a self-starter that can perform with limited direction.
This is an independent contractor position
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
