We are looking for a Graduate Civil/Site Engineer to join our team. We are hiring for a consulting engineering firm with specialties in Land Planning, Site Civil, Landscape Architecture, Transportation, Infrastructure, Land Surveying, Pipeline Surveying, and Pipeline Engineering. Candidates will be active in the designing of public and private sector developments. Project sizes range from approximately one (1) acre to several hundred acres. Project types include residential subdivisions, commercial retail, office developments, public / municipal buildings, institutional, military, and nonprofit developments.
Experience in conceptual planning, and developing construction documents are beneficial, although not required. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is also beneficial. This position includes working on land planning, grading, hydrology, storm drainage, utilities, soil erosion & sediment control, and regulatory permitting as needed for civil construction documents and permitting.

General Characteristics:
- Will acquire basic knowledge and develop skills in site/civil Land Development and permitting.
- Will apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks as part of a broader assignment.
- Will be allowed to exercise limited judgment on details of work and in application of standard methods for conventional work.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Will perform basic design tasks related to site/civil design.
- Will assist on other tasks such as: due diligence, code research, preparation of permit applications, civil construction documents, cost estimates, hydrology analysis and reports and computer-aided design (CAD) work.
Managerial Responsibilities:
- May assign tasks to and coordinate with technicians or administrative staff.
Direction Received:
- Will report to Project Manager
- Will provide close supervision on unusual or difficult problems and detailed review of all aspects of work.
Communication Skills:
- Position includes interaction with staff, general public, officials, and contractors.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- 2-4 years in a Site Civil Engineering position is preferred
- Engineering Intern with State Licensing Board is a plus
- Subdivision experience a plus
