An elite AM Law 50 firm is currently looking to onboard a Construction and Real Estate associate to join its national major projects practice in Dallas, Texas. The practice partners with Real Estate and construction stakeholders to resolve complex disputes, leveraging strategic skills, depth of knowledge and deep experience across the Real Estate and construction spectrum in federal and state courts.
Ideal candidate:
- The candidate must have at least two years of experience in working on broad commercial Real Estate transactions, including substantial commercial Real Estate finance experience.
- Knowledge of Real Estate acquisition and dispositions, property management and asset management, Real Estate development and construction.
- Commercial Real Estate leasing experience, including the representation of large institutional landlords.
- Experience representing lenders on commercial Real Estate projects, including office, retail, hotel, multi-family and residential.
- Experience drafting and negotiating Real Estate secured finance documents, purchase and sale agreements, leases, and development related documents such as easements and CC&R’s.
- Reviewing diligence documentation related to real property, including title, survey, organisational documentation, construction documents and service contracts including property management agreements.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, superior analytical skills, and the ability to manage client engagements.
- Strong interpersonal skills, work ethic and ability to manage multiple priorities.
