We’re seeking a skilled Real Estate attorney to join our team. Our ideal applicant will have 2-3 years of Real Estate litigation experience and strong knowledge of land use, title insurance, and business law. You must have a current license and exceptional negotiation, research, and communication skills. Compensation:$90,000 DOE
Responsibilities:- Draw up and review purchase and property management agreements, contracts, title abstracts, summaries, and commitments, probate and trust documents, leases, and financing statements, as appropriate
- Facilitate transfer of title between borrowers, Real Estate agents, and title company, and negotiate terms and conditions for Real Estate transactions
- Oversee support staff such as paralegals and clerks
- Cooperate with city boards and agencies to obtain permits and avoid zoning legal issues
- Work to clear title to Real Estate property on behalf of clients, appear at mediations, injunction hearings and/or trials to represent clients in Real Estate litigation
- Computer proficiency is needed
- 3 years of experience as a residential or commercial Real Estate attorney, as a transactional attorney, or as corporate counsel for a Real Estate development firm
- Relevant knowledge of property management, land use, title insurance, business law, and residential and commercial Real Estate law, including litigation
- Superb negotiation, networking, research, and communication skills are needed
- A Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school is required
