Duties:
This role will be responsible for supporting Real Estate strategy to ensure all portfolio and leasing goals and objectives are met. Key responsibilities include administrative activities that are highly sensitive in nature for the global Real Estate portfolio. The Real Estate strategy team fuels Real Estate success, through planning, execution, compliance, and alignment, developing and enhancing operational metrics and processes which enable our Real Estate teams to deliver projects, transactions, and global programs necessary to drive best-in-class workspaces.
This position will report to the Senior Manager, Real Estate Portfolio Strategy
Responsibilities
- Support to Senior Manager, Real Estate Strategy and Lease Administration
- Completing lease portfolio reports and assisting Lease Operations leadership with procedures, processes, reporting, and SOX compliance controls
- Support creation of Governance decks and review materials
- Supports Real Estate Strategy by organizing execution and distribution of Real Estate lease agreements
- Work closely with 3rd party lease administration service provider to maintain process playbook and scope of work
- Review and approve global rent reports
- Work closely with the Corporate Accounting, AP to ensure proper guidance of GAAP and the new lease accounting rules, ASC 842
- Notify strategic partners of new, modified, closed lease locations
- Assist with subtenant portfolio administration
- Work closely with cross functional teams and assist with answering portfolio and lease related questions
- Manage lease administration database system and serve as the main point of contact
- Onboard landlord suppliers into vendor records
- Maintains all forms of Real Estate documentation - hard and soft copies
- Monitor and manage lease operations Slack channel and email inbox
- Assist with all other miscellaneous administrative tasks as may be required
Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of Commercial Real Estate/Lease Administration experience or equivalent
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, interpret, and summarize various types of lease documents
- Strong financial and data analytical skills – including the ability to understand, read, interpret, and analyze operating expenses
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
