Job Summary:
The RAM program within the Naval Shipboard SSBU, under Raytheon - Naval Power has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Lead role supporting a dynamic production portfolio with an average $300M+ annual sales. This is a highly visible role giving the successful candidate an opportunity to join and lead the day-to-day execution of the production of RAM GMRPs (Missiles) and GMLS (Launchers). The successful candidate will directly support efforts regarding EACs, financial planning and program controls. As the RAM program is growing with multiple domestic and international contract awards as well as significant opportunities for additional growth, this a unique opportunity.
The successful candidate must possess strong presentation, communication, and professional skills. The role covers a wide set of requirements, so a successful candidate will need to show flexibility in job abilities, collaboration and strong communication skills.
This position is currently designated as hybrid (remote and/or onsite) and is based on the needs of the business. Onsite work may be expected up to 1 per week in Tucson, AZ or Louisville, KY.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Partnering with program and functional management to meet all financial plan commitments
- Acting as a strategic business partner, requiring clear communication, cross-functional relationships, and collaboration with the various functional teams
- Responsibility for aspects of financial control, including review of financial forecasts, risks & opportunities, manpower reporting, EACs, funding analysis, proposals/ECP's support, negotiations and gate support alongside the Production Finance Execution Lead
- Preparing finance charts for Program Management Reviews, monthly operating reviews, financial overviews and other reporting activities as required
- Preparing manpower reports to support Command and Control staffing demand reviews including working with cross function leads to identify gaps and plans to closure
- Supporting the monthly forecast / close process
- Supporting proposal development and program start up activities
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
- Typically requires 8 years of prior relevant experience; OR an advanced degree and 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience with cost & schedule analysis
- Experience with Estimates at Complete (EAC) and/or similar processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Broad understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
- Experience in DoD or Aerospace
- Experience on high visibility projects and production programs
- Familiarity with RMD business systems, including SAP, BW, RPlan, EDIT+ or similar systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive, creative, and innovative and use critical and strategic thinking
