Job Summary:
The Program Engineer - Senior will independently apply extensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields. The Program Engineer - Senior will assist a Program Manager on a major project or several projects of moderate scope with complex features.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist a Program Manager in managing a program
- Perform administrative duties related to managing a program
- Other duties as assigned or required to meet the business needs
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Proficient with electronic communications including e-mail and text as well as standard office applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Advanced oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in project budget and schedule tools
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's Degree or equivalent
- 8+ years prior experience
- Engaged in life-long learning to maintain knowledge of contemporary issues
- Experience assisting a Program Manager
Additional Qualifications, Certifications, etc.:
- Professional Engineer (PE), equivalent, or authorization of CLPO
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Coordinate work with staff necessary to complete assignments
- Assist Program Manager in overseeing scopes, budgets, and schedules for program
- Prepare proposals to provide professional services
