About This Position: The Engineering Rotational Program is an exciting two-year career Development Program offered for new graduates with a real passion for engineering and rail vehicle manufacturing. This 2-year full-time program provides 3 rotations in 1) Design Engineering, 2) Project Management, and 3) QA/QC & Operations. This opportunity will give you full exposure to the end-to-end life cycle of a railcar project that may span several years. While in the program, you will be provided not only hands-on and technical experience from rotations but also classroom training and mentorships. Upon successful completion of this program, you will be placed within the Design Engineering team to continue building your career and developing your expertise.
Primary Location: El Segundo CA
You will have the opportunity to learn different projects in other business locations including but not limited to: Palmdale CA, Jersey City NJ, Piscataway NJ, Osaka Japan.
What You Will Do (but not limited to):
You will work closely with your supervisor to achieve objectives associated with your interests.
- Design Engineering (offer preparation, specification management, creating design drawings, performing design calculations, vendor management, validation of the products)
- Project Management (schedule management, change order negotiations)
- QA/QC, Operations, and Manufacturing Engineering (troubleshooting on the equipment and vehicle level, investigating and resolving of manufacturing issues during build, performing routine and qualification testing of the vehicles)
What You Will Bring:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (must graduate in 2024).
