Cardinal Points Imaging of the Carolinas is currently searching for an experienced Registration Specialist. You will have the opportunity to build and maintain a positive working relationship with our referring offices, patients, and clinical staff. To be successful, you must have a solid ability to multi-task, a strict sense of urgency, be technically savvy, service-oriented, communicate effectively, and consistently displaying a professional demeanor. As a Registration Specialist, you will be responsible for being the face of Cardinal Points Imaging at all our locations.
STATUS: Full-time flex, Evenings, Non-Exempt
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions, and professionally interact with managers, clients, vendors, and patients while ensuring successful outcomes.
- Ability to recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and correct errors.
- Flexibility and the ability to be trained on multiple tasks are required.
- Data entry, medical terminology, EHR, HIPAA, and Customer Service experience are required.

EDUCATION:
To be competitive, must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
- Knowledge of medical and radiology terminology preferred.
- Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Medical Coding and/or billing knowledge a plus.
